  • What is the difference between coaching and consulting?
    Coaching focuses on empowering individuals or teams to reach their goals by drawing out their own insights and solutions, while consulting provides expert advice and solutions to address specific problems or challenges. Coaching emphasizes self-discovery and personal growth, whereas consulting emphasizes expertise and problem-solving.
  • What if I need coaching AND consulting?
    In most cases, my clients receive both coaching and consulting, especially clients that lead sales teams. Most of my clients are in the Real Estate Industry (real estate teams/brokerages, lenders, title agencies, etc.), so having spent over two decades as a Broker/Team Leader in the industry, I not only coach, but I also bring to the table a great deal of experience and expertise to help my clients solve problems/issues as they come up during our coaching sessions.
  • I’ve tried hiring a coach several times, and it never worked out. What makes you different?
    This is probably the most common question I receive. I could write a book on this, but I’ll try to make it brief. Over the course of 20+ years, I hired/fired at least a dozen “coaches”. What I finally came to realize is that most people that call themselves “coaches” are actually “mentors” or “trainers”, and some are pretty good consultants, but very few are true coaches. Most Team Leaders/Brokers are looking for what I call a “Team/Brokerage in a box” or a “plug-and-play” solution. In other words, they just want a simple, easy-to-follow “instruction manual” on how to run their operation. In many cases, they end up with a “coach” that basically says “I’m going to teach you how to run your team exactly how I run my team. If you do what I do, you too will be successful”. What I’ve come to realize is that this model usually ends up being a recipe for wasted time/money, and ultimately failure. I think of my coaching program as more “custom”. We look at where you are today, determine where you want to end up, and using your vision and goals, my job is to help you implement systems that will get you to where you want to be as quickly as possible.
  • Who is your Ideal Client?
    My ideal coaching clients are typically real estate industry associates that are currently in a leadership position or are starting the process of becoming a leader. They value someone that can provide inspirational guidance, systems, strategies, new ideas, and is laser-focused on their personal growth.
  • Do you require a minimum commitment?
    Sort of… My ultimate goal is to help you implement systems that will allow you to get “on-track” towards your vision/goals, and this process typically takes a minimum of 3-4 months. We start off with a Two-Day Intensive, which leads into 6 private one-hour coaching sessions over 3 months. So, I do require a 3 month commitment, however, if at any time you feel we aren’t a good fit, you are free to cancel, no questions asked. After we have gone through the 90-day program, I also offer month-to-month ongoing coaching (should you choose to continue).
  • What is the “Two-Day Intensive”?
    My coaching program starts off with two 4-6 hour days (one-on-one). During our first day together, I help you to determine your Core Values, your purpose/cause/passion (some call this a Mission Statement), your niche, your 10-year dream, and your overall marketing strategy (target market for clients/team members, unique characteristics, proven process, etc.). Our second day of the intensive is focused on goals and traction. We come up with a list of three-year goals, one-year goals, 90-day goals, and current issues that need to be addressed immediately.
  • Will you teach me how to generate and convert leads?
    This is another question I get on a regular basis, and the answer is No. There are several hundred (if not thousands) of people that specialize in lead generation/conversion training, especially in the real estate space. I don’t coach in this space, but I’d be happy to refer you to a few that I know do a great job with it.
  • How are your coaching sessions conducted?
    Our Two-Day-Intensive is conducted in person, and our coaching sessions will either be conducted over the phone or via Zoom (whichever you prefer).
  • How much does it cost?
